After the excellent response to the potential hack, LastPass find the number of users rushing to change their master password too high and revert the majority of users to Offline mode.
As load diminishes more users will be allowed/forced to change their master password.
It is again a good move as I understand it as the local copy will be used to authenticate client sites and thus protecting the users client sites.
They also gave a short interview to PCWorld explaining the issue.
