Day 011: 101 Dalmations (1996)

Live action remake of a beloved Disney classic could have been a disaster, but modern technology and good casting lets this movie breath and engage the viewer.
We all know he story, fur loving maniac Cruella De Vil steals puppies in order to turn them nt the ultimate accessory.
As the animals of Britain unite to out wit the fiendish plan, many scenes of incredible humour and charm. The puppies are for the most part utterly believable and so cute youll want one.
Things to look out for:wonderfully over the top Glenn Close, Hugh Laurie and Mark Williams as the inept pupnappers – Jasper and Horace, Tim McInnerny as the ill treated chauffeur – Alonzo, many special effects, much slapstick
Released: 1996
Certificate: U
Cast: Glenn Close, Jeff Daniels, Joely Richardson, Joan Plowright
Rating: live action slapstick fun that is a suitable successor to the cartoon original, recommended
