Day 011: Facebook Default Privacy

Some applications don’t have an option to set the privacy of new posts.
These are things like automatic posts from WordPress or NetworkBlogs or some Mobile apps.
Luckily Facebook has this covered.

Default Privacy:

The Privacy menu is one of the few things you can access from almost anywhere in Facebook.
In the top right hand corner there is almost always a drop down arrow.
From this you can select the Privacy Settings page.

Privacy Page:

Lots of options here but we are interested in the second section “Control Your Default Privacy“,
Obviously this is normally Friends or Public but I’d recommend a better honed “Custom” setting.
And this screen is identical to the one we covered on Day 010. Exactly the same options with exactly the same effects.
Simply select the options that make the most sense to you
