Day 029: Facebook Apps (continued)

One last option for Facebook Applications. Setting the privacy/visibility of posts from each application!

App Activity Privacy:

Nice one this, taking us back to earlier posts on ensuring the privacy of our posts.
We have already seen the option that allows us to set a default for all applications posting to Facebook, when they have no such option themselves.
Here we can set a default for each individual application!

Works in exactly the same way as previously discussed. So if you don’t want your boss or colleagues seeing your activity on Starfleet Commander then select Custom from the list and exclude your Work list from the visibility options for that application.
Any other combination is available as per normal.
Of course, if the Application includes an option to set the permissions then that would take precedence over this setting. So still check each time you’re asked!
