iTunes – 12 Days of Christmas: Day 1: Maroon 5 EP

Well, it’s that time again!
Apple’s free Christmas gifts have started.
The first gift is an EP from US Rock/Pop band Maroon 5.
A few days ago we were given a taster of a Rod Stewart single but now we get our first proper gift.
Maroon 5 are a ban that have for the most part passed me by but I’ll try most music, if its free at least.
Simply called ‘Holiday Gift‘, the extended play single contains 3 tracks:

1. Moves like Jagger (feat. Christine Aguilera)
2. One More Night
3. Moves Like Jagger [VIDEO]

Of course, there’s the links to other similar content…

Having not heard the band before, I was intrigued to give them a go. I was a bit disappointed with the first track, an extended mix (over seven minutes) with long syncopated dance sequences. Not very rock ‘n roll but I can hear why it would be popular.
The third track is a video, a sort of mini ‘Making of‘ video for the first track.

Okay start but not all that inspiring…
