What is this all about then?
Why am I doing this?
Simple answer is that I hope to leave a little of myself behind for all to see.
Most of us won’t be immortalised in film, radio or other media. Some will leave children and will be remembered for a few generations. Perhaps the Web will allow us to be remembered forever?
Who knows. I hope so.
Another (and if I’m being honest the main reason) is that I feel I have something to say, possible contribute. The blog allows me to provide my thoughts for you and those after you to read and enjoy.
A lot of this site will concentrate in IT as that is my career. It will mostly be updated from my iPhone on the move so please excuse the odd spieling mistake [sic].

I work in a large multi-national firm and take pride in the way I have worked my way up from Service Desk through to my present responsibilities. This career has led me to post here on various security issues as they crop up. I won’t post on everything I see or hear as, obviously, work and family take priority. I hope though that what I post is informative and helpful.
(I have a keen interest in movies and a wide range of DVDs and Bluerays – plus the odd Electronic copy too. You’ll see me review these from time to time. I was going to publish one a day but that concept defeated me as work got too intensive.)
